While Coloma's win against Allegan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Comets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Coloma pushed their record up to 6-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Allegan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coloma will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
