Canton-Galva found their leader in underclassman Trinity Espinoza, who scored 23 points along with four steals. Espinoza has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Malia Hoppes was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Canton-Galva pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Peabody-Burns, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Canton-Galva will head out on the road to square off against the Redskins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Little River is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Peabody-Burns, they will be playing at home against the Gorillas on Tuesday.
