Lincoln County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past Fairfield/Augusta to the tune of 32-0. The Lions haven't had any issues with Fairfield/Augusta recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Lincoln County had a senior duo take command as Rogan Lytle threw for 144 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes and Josh Lambertsen gained 134 total yards and two touchdowns. Lambertsen got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 62 yards.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Powell County at 6:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Fairfield/Augusta, they will host Anaconda at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
