The third road matchup was the charm for the Germantown Academy Patriots, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past Girard College 73-23 on the road. With Germantown Academy ahead 50-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Girard College's lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Antoine Seals, who scored 7 points. Seals scored a full 30.4% of Girard College's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got Germantown Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Girard College, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Germantown Academy will be playing at home against Friends Select at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Girard College, they will head out on the road to face off against International Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
