The Lakeland Chiefs lost against the Old Forge Blue Devils back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Lakeland fell 53-44 to Old Forge. Lakeland has struggled against Old Forge recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Lakeland lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nathan Hunt, who scored 13 points. Chase Rosenkrans was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Old Forge, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
Lakeland will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mid Valley at 6:45 p.m. Hopefully Lakeland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday. As for Old Forge, they will head out on the road to face off against Dunmore at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
