East and General McLane are both heading into their Friday matchup this week after winning their previous games. The win bumped General McLane's record up to 4-2.
As for East, it got an early lead and maintained it, starting each quarter with an advantage. Senior wide receiver Jameel Gibbs was especially active in the win, finding the endzone a remarkable three times. The victory got East up to 1-5.
