North Gaston was led to victory by Carter Mason and Markell Carothers. Mason scored 16 points, while Carothers scored 22 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. The game was Carothers' eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jurnee Lattimore, who scored five points along with six steals.
Stuart W. Cramer now has a losing record at 4-5. As for North Gaston, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.
Stuart W. Cramer's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bandys at 10:30 a.m. on December 27th. Bandys has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 585 points over their last eight games. North Gaston won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Gaston at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. East Gaston presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Gaston in North Carolina (East Gaston is ranked 266th, while North Gaston is ranked 577th).
