KIPP King lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being David Rogers, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Rogers' third in a row with at least ten points. Ja'mauri Woodfolk was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
KIPP King's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lowell, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.
KIPP King will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Redwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 4th. Lowell and Balboa will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Balboa is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
