Skyline hasn't had much luck against Viewmont recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will welcome the Vikings at 3:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
On Monday, Skyline made easy work of Granger and carried off a 13-3 win.

Bella Carrion made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Isabelle Rupp was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maya Jacobsen, who went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs.
Skyline hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 6-3 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Viewmont had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.
Like Skyline, Viewmont also got a great game from a two-way player: Olivia McGarvey. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. McGarvey was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one double.
In other batting news, Peyton Burningham and Marlee Moser did most of the damage at the plate: Burningham went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Moser went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Moser has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. Ricki Smith was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Viewmont's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Skyline, their victory bumped their record up to 8-18.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Skyline hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. However, it's not like Viewmont struggles in that department as they've averaged .354. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Skyline might still be hurting after the 17-0 loss they got from Viewmont in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Eagles have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
