Danbury's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Jake Okeefe
Danbury's eight-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jake OKeefe. OKeefe turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 67 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 108 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes.
Danbury's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. OKeefe and Danbury will host Westhill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Brayden Jagoe stepped things up a notch to give Trumbull the 'W'. Jagoe turned in nothing short of a gem, making eight total tackles and defending a pass. Trumbull now has a winning record of 3-2. Jagoe and Trumbull will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenwich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

D'angelo Came Up Big in Greenwich's 20-17 Loss
While Greenwich might've come up empty on Friday, Michael D'Angelo wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop D'Angelo as he rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 137 yards and a touchdown.
With the defeat, Greenwich broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1. D'Angelo and Greenwich will take on Trumbull at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
