It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past Lighthouse Private Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. The win was familiar territory for Out-of-Door Academy who now have three in a row.
Out-of-Door Academy found their leader in underclassman Allen Clark, who rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Jack Meyers was another key contributor, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Lighthouse Private Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Henry Johnson, who picked up 132 receiving yards and a touchdown. Johnson's longest reception was for an incredible 94 yards.
Out-of-Door Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
