Trinity extended their losing streak to five on Monday, dropping them down to 2-10. They came up short against the West Davidson Dragons, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Monday.
Trinity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Cox, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
As for West Davidson, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won seven matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
On West Davidson's side, Adlee Jordan made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Jordan was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.
In other batting news, West Davidson got a massive performance out of Gracie Michael, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. What's more, Michael posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Hannah Rollins, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Looking ahead, Trinity will take on Providence Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Davidson, they will square off against Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
