In what's become a running theme this season, the Onekama Portagers gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They beat Grand Traverse Academy by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 79-33. The win made it back-to-back wins for Onekama.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charlie Dennis, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Nate Dix was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Onekama is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Grand Traverse Academy, their defeat was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.
