Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Academy of Careers & Exploration to victory, but perhaps none more so than Preston Marshall, who scored 27 points along with four steals. Those 27 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayden Rego, who scored 23 points along with four steals.
Academy of Careers & Exploration pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Victor Valley Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
