Skowhegan won against Brunswick last Friday with 34 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The River Hawks came out on top against the Mt. Blue Cougars by a score of 34-26. That's more bragging rights for the River Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mt. Blue's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dillon Gray, who rushed for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries. Reed Cousineau also helped out as he racked up 110 rushing yards.

Skowhegan's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Mt. Blue, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

As of now, neither Skowhegan nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
