Norris has gone 8-2 against Gretna recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Dragons at 4:30 p.m. Norris is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
Norris will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Adams Central on Monday. The Titans blew past the Patriots 13-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Crew Moeller made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jordan Monroe was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Kaden Fredenburg was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and three runs.
Norris always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. The last time their OBP was this high was April 4th.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gretna, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Gretna East 7-5.
Hudson Schwartzkopf looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Gretna is undefeated when Schwartzkopf allows three or fewer earned runs, but 6-10 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Carson Dicken, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. He has become a key player for Gretna: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nolan Spencer, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Gretna is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Norris, their record now sits at 16-7.
Gretna's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Norris has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. It's a different story for Gretna, though, as they've only averaged .362. Will they be able to contain Norris' hitters?
Norris skirted past Gretna 8-7 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
