Even though The Tarrant Wildcats have not done well against the Carbon Hill Bulldogs recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Tarrant enjoyed a cozy 42-28 win over Carbon Hill. Tarrant didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Carbon Hill lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jacob Walker. Despite the final result, he rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Walker Kimbrell also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Tarrant's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Carbon Hill, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tarrant will face off against Montevallo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carbon Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
