Sandy Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Oliver Oglesby, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 blocks. Ethan Shaw was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Wood River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Sandy Creek, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
