Meanwhile, Meunier pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Platt went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Meunier went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs. Those hits were Platt's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Gorham made easy work of Lisbon on Monday and carried off a 12-3 win. Considering the Huskies' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Kasey Guilmette made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Guilmette was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jack Saladino, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Gavin Corrigan, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Gorham's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Groveton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Groveton suffered a grim 18-2 defeat to Gorham when the teams last played back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
