After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westlake Academy, the Heritage Christian Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Monday. They managed a 30-24 victory over Lakewood Presbyterian.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addelynn Reid, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. Sara Spangler was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks.
The victory got Heritage Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Heritage Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Faustina Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
