In what's become a running theme this season, the Campolindo Cougars gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 83-17 win over Mt. Diablo at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Campolindo has managed all season.
Campolindo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tim Smith out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Will Marusich, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Campolindo's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Mt. Diablo, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
