This season hasn't been kind to the EPIC Academy The Legends, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They took a serious blow against Chicago Military Academy on Thursday, falling 68-31.
EPIC Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Antwan Donley , who scored 14 points, and RayQuan Woods who scored 13 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him.
EPIC Academy bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Chicago Military Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-6.
EPIC Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harlan at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. As for Chicago Military Academy, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Southland College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
