The Camden Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Daniel Lions at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Camden has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 226 points over their last five games.
Camden had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Brookland-Cayce with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 46-30.
Grayson White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 74 yards and four touchdowns, while also throwing for 351 yards while completing 74.2% of his passes. Camden also got a significant boost from Averee Hickmon, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
Meanwhile, Daniel put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 28-23 victory over Belton-Honea Path.
Among those leading the charge was Kolton Chapman, who rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 144 yards and a touchdown.
Camden's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.7 points per game. As for Daniel, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0.
Camden suffered a grim 45-20 defeat to Daniel when the teams last played back in December of 2021. Can Camden avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
