Laughlin's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Beaver Dam Diamondback. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Laughlin's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Beaver Dam, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Laughlin beat the Diamondback by a score of 13-3 later that day.
