Franklin waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rockdale Tigers a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Lions have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Franklin's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rockdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Franklin will have a chance to go back-to-back against Rockdale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
