Basketball Recap: Pembroke Piles Up the Points Against Conval

Pembroke won the last time they faced ConVal and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pembroke Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the ConVal Cougars 68-20. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Pembroke's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.4 points over those games. As for ConVal, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Pembroke will welcome Bishop Brady at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pembroke is facing Bishop Brady at the right time seeing as Bishop Brady is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for ConVal, they will venture away from home to challenge Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
