On Friday, Blue Valley didn't have too much trouble with Pike Valley at home as they won 55-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Blue Valley.
Despite the loss, Pike Valley had strong showings from Breanna Reeves, who scored 15 points along with 7 steals, and Reese Douglas, who scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds. Reeves scored a full 40.5% of Pike Valley's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Blue Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pike Valley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Blue Valley will head out on the road to face off against Troy on Saturday. As for Pike Valley, they will take on Wakefield at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Wakefield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.
