Teays Valley got themselves on the board against Groveport-Madison on Saturday, but Groveport-Madison never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cruisers with a sharp 13-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Teays Valley is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Groveport-Madison, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
