Even though the St. Ignatius Bulldogs scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, the Lincoln County Lions still came out on top. Lincoln County managed a 64-59 win over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln County.
It was another big night for Kara Stanger, who scored 28 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Casazza, who scored ten points along with three steals.
The win got Lincoln County back to even at 7-7. As for St. Ignatius, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.
Lincoln County will head out on the road to face off against the Blue Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Ignatius, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Troy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
