WILLIAM OVERTON continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Taylor, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Grant is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Arleta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
Grant won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jordan at 3:00 p.m. on January 13th. Jordan is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Arleta, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Chavez at 4:00 p.m. Chavez is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
