Section 3 Class C - West recap October 1, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Port Byron/Union Springs, who defeated 195th ranked Canastota, 14-6.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Section 3 Class C - West this week, Institute of Tech beat Jordan-Elbridge 38-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Eagles.
Hannibal's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Trevor Alton threw for 119 and 2 touchdowns and Zach Janes had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Alton contributed 73 yards. Austin Mattison helped Hannibal's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 26 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Eagles' Austin Barrigar and Kyle Humberstone have proven to be a lethal combination. Barrigar has thrown for 375 yards this season, while Humberstone has 9 catches for 250 yards. Matt Lee from Skaneateles leads the league in rushing with 350 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Institute of Tech takes on the Red Raiders. The Eagles are currently in first, while Canastota is in fourth.
