The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for University Park in their matchups with Whitinsville Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Burncoat came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 72-45 victory over Southbridge on the road.
University Park bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Burncoat, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
University Park might still be hurting after the 82-61 defeat they got from Burncoat in their previous matchup back in February. Can University Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
