Clever entered their tilt with Buffalo on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They skirted past the Buffalo Bison 40-38. That's two games straight that the Blue Jays have won by exactly two points.

Buffalo's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braden McGregor, who went 5 for 10 to rack up 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Dalton Bennett, who posted eight points.

Clever's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Buffalo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Clever will face off against Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsyth knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Clever likes a good challenge. As for Buffalo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Strafford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Strafford has three straight victories, Buffalo has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
