The Elm Creek Buffaloes came out on top in a nail-biter against the Loomis Wolves on Friday, sneaking past 72-70 thanks in part to Oberg, who went 14 of 22 on his way to 34 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Those 34 points gave him a new career-high.
Despite the loss, Loomis still got an impressive performance from Grady Keeshan, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Essex, who posted 11 points and four steals.
