Billingsley never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past Breakthrough Charter 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Nobody will forget Danny Boice's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Breakthrough Charter's batters): he turned in a perfect game.

At the plate, Billingsley let Mason Truesdale and Eli Manning run wild. Truesdale scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Manning scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Kaden Cotton also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Billingsley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .760. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Billingsley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.5 runs. As for Breakthrough Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Billingsley will face off against Comer at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Breakthrough Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Autaugaville at 4:00 p.m. on April 15th.
