The Como Park Cougars will be home for the holidays to greet the North Polars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Como Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 347 points over their last five games.
Como Park pushed their score all the way to 74 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 86-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of Two Rivers.
Meanwhile, North's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Monday. They came out on top against Centennial by a score of 74-65. North's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Duke King, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brevin Conway, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Como Park bumped their record down to 2-3 with that loss, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for North, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.
