Lakeland extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from David Naniewicz. The Chiefs were the clear victors by a 31-6 margin over the Honesdale Hornets on Saturday with plenty of help from Naniewicz, who rushed for 120 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 93 yards and one TD. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 61 yards.
Lakeland's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Honesdale, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
