The Crestview Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Pace Patriots with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Crestview took down Pace 52-38 on Tuesday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Crestview has scored all season.
It was another big night for Makhi Jones, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Crestview's points. Josiah Klauser was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Crestview's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pace, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will be home for the holidays to greet Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Choctawhatchee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Crestview in Florida (Choctawhatchee is ranked 133rd, while Crestview is ranked 272nd). Pace will be home for the holidays to greet Navarre at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Navarre's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
