Basketball Recap: First State Military Academy Comes Up Short

First State Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the MOT Charter Mustangs 69-31. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 69-22 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

First State Military Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Benjamin Holt, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wayne Watson, who put up eight points.

First State Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for MOT Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

First State Military Academy has already played their next game, a 67-36 defeat against McKean on the 7th. As for MOT Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-63 win against Newark Charter School on the 8th.
