The Seven Rivers Christian Warriors will square off against the Bronson Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Seven Rivers Christian has struggled recently with 12 defeats in a row, while Bronson will arrive with three straight victories.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Seven Rivers Christian and Seffner Christian meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. Seven Rivers Christian fell just short of Seffner Christian by a score of 4-2.

Seffner Christian's batters probably weren't too happy with Natalee Tidwell, who pitched a no hitter and racked up eight Ks (she gave up eight walks). Tidwell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Seven Rivers Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madalyn Luider, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Luider is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Bronson's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Dixie County a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.
Dixie County's batters probably weren't too happy with Julianne Lampton, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (she gave up zero walks). That's the fewest walks Lampton has allowed since back in March of 2024.
On the hitting side, Brystal Howard was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Maddie Dean was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Seven Rivers Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bronson, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
