Prairie View is 0-10 against the Chargers since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Prairie View Buffalos will be playing at home against the Santa Fe Trail Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Prairie View is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, Prairie View was beaten by the Eagles 73-17. While losing is never fun, Prairie View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Eagles are ranked 76th).
Meanwhile, even though Iola scored an imposing 61 points on Tuesday, Santa Fe Trail still came out on top. Santa Fe Trail skirted past the Mustangs 63-61.
Prairie View dropped their record down to 2-10-1 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Santa Fe Trail, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
