Brevard HEAT hasn't had much luck against Master's Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Brevard HEAT Firehawks just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Master's Academy Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Master's Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Brevard HEAT, who comes in off a win.
Brevard HEAT is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest win since December 14, 2024 on Monday. They put the hurt on Innovation Montessori with a sharp 56-34 victory. The Firehawks pushed the score to 49-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

Brevard HEAT can attribute much of their success to Ryan Younger, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 18 points and three steals, and Elias Ojala, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Ojala a new career-high in steals (six). Another player making a difference was Aydin Younger, who posted ten points and four steals.
Brevard HEAT smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Master's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against Florida Prep, falling 80-27. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Brevard HEAT will have to keep a close watch on Jayshawn Troutman and Fennel Eugene, a pair of players who had a big impact on Master's Academy's prior game. Troutman had four points, while Eugene earned 12 points. Eugene continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Brevard HEAT's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13. As for Master's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
Brevard HEAT came up short against Master's Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 56-52. Can Brevard HEAT avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
