The Hoggard Vikings will be playing at home against the West Bladen Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Bladen took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hoggard, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Hoggard took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 67-26 victory over Purnell Swett. With Hoggard ahead 30-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Hoggard found their leader in underclassman Tristan Shivers, who scored 17 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaronyanda Graham, who scored 9 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, West Bladen ended up a good deal behind East Bladen on Tuesday and lost 58-44. West Bladen has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The win makes it two in a row for Hoggard and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for West Bladen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Hoggard against West Bladen in their previous matchup back in November of 2018 as the squad secured a 46-11 victory. Will Hoggard repeat their success, or does West Bladen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
