The Horn Lake Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a rough 31-7 loss at the hands of Southaven. Horn Lake has not had much luck with Southaven recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Jason Edwards jr threw for 134 yards on 12 of 18 attempts. Rodriunn Fairlee was his top target, picking up 84 receiving yards. On the ground, Demarkus Crain rushed for 69 yards.
Horn Lake has yet to win a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 1-9 record. As for Southaven, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
Horn Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southaven will head out on the road to face off against Starkville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
