Hickory's Jahiz Linebarger rumbled for the longest rushing play in 4A/3A Conference 2 this season in his game against Pisgah last week.
Freedom added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating East Rowan, 33-13. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Patriots.
Freedom's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Titus Smith has thrown for 1,582 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Khris Gardin has 50 catches for 966 yards.
Gardin of the Freedom's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 34 receiving yards in this week's game against Forestview to get there. He has recorded 50 catches for 966 yards this year.
Chris Bridges of the Blair Hardin's team is just 38 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 105 carries Bridges has put up 962 yards this year.
Patton fell to Hibriten 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
