Pleasant is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Swan Valley in Michigan (Mt. Pleasant is ranked 99th, while Swan Valley is ranked 333rd).
Mt. Pleasant pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 74-55 to Powers Catholic. Mt. Pleasant has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Swan Valley escaped with a win on Tuesday against Garber by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51.
Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Swan Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Mt. Pleasant was able to grind out a solid win over Swan Valley when the teams last played back in December of 2016, winning 58-51. Will Mt. Pleasant repeat their success, or does Swan Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
