Tolland hadn't done well against Coventry recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Eagles walked away with a 9-5 win over the Patriots. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Tolland got a big performance out of Evan Clark, who went 2-for-3 with two runs. Another player making a difference was Mason Bryant, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Tolland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.

Tolland's record now sits at 12-6. As for Coventry, they dropped their record down to 12-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Tolland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coventry, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Rockville on the 29th.
