The Calistoga Wildcats stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Victory Christian Academy 73-12 on the road. While fans of Calistoga might be used to big wins, the 61-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Calistoga got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Diego Perez out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Perez also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Will Ulloa, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
The win was the sixth in a row for Calistoga, bringing their record for this year to 17-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Victory Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
Coincidentally, Calistoga and Victory Christian Academy will both be playing Grace Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Victory Christian Academy will head out to face Grace Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Calistoga will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
