Madison waltzed into their game on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the South Lake Cavaliers. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly 15 runs.

Landon Wargo was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs.

In other batting news, Madison got a massive performance out of Shawn Dennis, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Dennis has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 11 times he's played. Evan Olceski was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Madison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .607 or higher in 11 consecutive contests.

Madison's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.2 runs over those games. As for South Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
