Cumberland Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Creston Austin out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Austin's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Nolan Buzalka was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Waynesboro's 21-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They lost to Northern York on the road by a decisive 48-30 margin last Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Waynesboro has scored all season.
Cumberland Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Waynesboro, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
